Do not, call me Cassandra!

Today was one of those days when I felt like saying: I told you so...
My two nieces were up stairs having just returned from church with my mom; I hear a scream and run upstairs hoping it is not as bad as it COULD be because I had left them alone with Zeus .
Now many of you who have read my blog especially the post I made on Thanksgiving, know my relationship with Zeus; he was and still is very "sensitive" to anyone not familiar with him touching(which she did while he slept) or making any move he is not aware.
Well when I make it to the top of the stairs I hear her--my niece-- crying with her younger sister standing back in silence. My mom has also run to the scene and is comforting her, she is crying and in need of comforting and treatment because he has broken her skin and needed stitches(2).
How ironic, I had told my brother that he needed to "harmonize" his two girls with his dog seeing that the more they shared the house(visiting grandma) on recent occasions, the more he had grown comfortable with them and they in turn wanted to extend that familiarity, from warm company to warmer interaction, with them touching and petting their "brother" so to speak.

Well do you think he would listen?!
I tried to get them to listen(for years) but NOOOOOOOOO

This guy(a doctor) whom after retrieving(hospital) me after the second of 4 bites I had to suffer(November 05), just to bring about better relations between Zeus and I (which we currently share), went over to Zeus and acted as if nothing had occurred: with love and attention to his dog. He could not have cared even that he had severely attacked me in Ft. DuPont Park.

I was fucking mad as Hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moreover, that wife of his, -whom I called that day to get help- never called back nor like her husband never offered ANY financial compensation!!

So I was taken full circle today; even more so when those boys whom I fought Tuesday appeared and decided to instigate me by arriving with there girlfriends out front while my mom had taken my niece to the emergency room. Zeus had been relegated to the porch with the stairs blocked keeping him from leaving., though he had remembered them so he was angry and wanting to go out to show them his long memory.
Fortunately, I used her attack as I went out and reminded them he had been responsible for an attack on my niece so please do not lean on the fence: it worked they moved and seemed to welcome my sincerity and forthright about my troubling day.

We shall see!

Well I spent the next two hours watching "The Rescuers" with my youngest niece while we waited for their return from the hospital. When they returned, she had given the prerequisite bandage, antibiotic prescription, and the info in managing the wound in order to prevent infection. It was so prescient and preventable; but it seems that "We the people" do not want to invest in preventative actions to not make yesterdays tragedies, today's: they would rather cover their eyes to the truth, and hope it goes away.
But in the real world it never goes away, it just hides waiting to surprise-- jumping and bloodily biting causing even more pain and if we re lucky action to correct things before it happens again

In 17 days act;the time to stop the madness is now: LISTEN AND LEARN...DO NOT BE LIKE THEM!!
The future for us and our posterity is to important.
