You know, ever since I was a little boy I have always been burdened by those around me...especially my family. As if they knew I could take it; they and it seems the "world" have gotten pleasure in dropping another stone on my back realizing I WOULD NEVER ADMIT I COULD NOT HANDLE IT!
Oh, how I wished for my 18th birthday when I could emancipate myself from all those around me and truly be free to live life only for me: good luck!
What I have learned is that the more you grow and change, the likelihood of those around you changing,if you are lucky, will be oh so rare. From what I have observed they(and the greater world) unfortunately will remain the same selfish, short sighted rubes they have always been.
The greatest fight, is the fight for "oneself".
So if you are new to this world: never take anything for granted; never believe that time will change them because the only thing changing is time.
So, if you do not wake up and grab life, making it new for YOURSELF... than no one ever will!
